Invisalign is a revolutionary system that gradually and gently moves your teeth into alignment using a series of aligners in a discreet and comfortable way. This custom made appliance is manufactured in a clear medical grade material which means they are almost invisible when worn.
They are a modern alternative to a conventional brace with the added benefit of being removable, allowing them to be taken out for a couple of hours a day to attend important events such as a business appointment or special social occasions.

Minus of Invisalign:
- lnvisalign will only work if you are wearing it for the amount of time prescribed by your orthodontist. A minimum of 20-22 hours-a-day wear is required to enable this appliance to work effectively
- Some more complex cases will be better suited to a fixed brace
Unlike traditional fixed braces, Invisalign clear aligners are removable and nearly invisible.

Scanning for Invisalign
During Invisalign treatment, we take 3-D digital impressions by scanning your mouth, eliminating the need to pack paste in your mouth to take impressions. It’s quicker, cleaner, and it’s far more accurate than traditional impressions. If you are considering Invisalign to straighten your teeth, our scanner will make the process more accurate and pleasant.
4 Steps to Your New Smile

Step 1
An orthodontic assessment will be arranged for you with Juliette Armand, at this visit luliette will spend time with you to discuss your concerns regarding your teeth and how you would like to improve them. Juliette will provide a full clinical examination.
Also at this visit, our treatment coordinator will provide you with further information and provide you with prices and payment methods. -
Step 2
You will receive a written report which will be sent securely by email, detailing the clinical findings from your consultation and recommendations that have been made for you. The report will be accompanied by an lnformed consent which explains risks and benefits oftreatment and quotations for the treatment recommended and payment methods.

Step 3
lfyou wish to proceed with a course of Invisalign treatment, we will arrange a records visit for an intraoral scan, photos and X-rays to be taken and which will be sent to lnvisalign for the aligners to be produced. This takes around four weeks for them to be returned to us for fitting.

Step 4
We will arrange a 20-minute appointment for the aligners to be fitted, with a 30 minute follow up appointment three weeks after for attachments to be placed. (These are small resin attachments which are fitted to a number of teeth which help the aligners grip your teeth).
The aligners will need to be worn 20-22 hours per day and a schedule will be provided to tellyou when to change to the next set. We will then arrange regular visits for your progress to be monitored every 7-8 weeks until your treatment has been completed. Atthe end ofyour treatment, we will provide both bonded and removable retainers.
