Many adults mistakenly think that they are ‘too old’ for orthodontic treatment. The good news is that there are many orthodontic options for adults and that we are treating more adults than at any time in the past.
Adult patients often have different needs to children and at Ridentes we try hard to understand our patient’s wishes. We will work with you to tailor a solution that meets your needs and expectations. We offer a range of aesthetic options for adults and both our orthodontists and your dedicated treatment coordinator will discuss suitable treatments at the time of consultation.
What are the treatment options for adults?
At your first consultation, you will be able to discuss your concerns with one of our Treatment Coordinators and our specialist orthodontist, Mark Northwood. We will explain what treatments may be available to help you achieve your new smile. We will also explain any limitations to improvements that can be made and suggest additional adjunctive work such as slight tooth reshaping and build up’s of teeth that could help.
At Ridentes Orthodontics, we provide a whole range of discreet braces and aligners for adult treatment. This includes the Invisalign aligner system, ceramic braces and lingual appliances such as the Incognito system.
